Released in the UK on 22 November 1968, The Beatles was the band'south 9th UK anthology and was the simply double album released by the band. Known colloquially as the White Anthology, it was recorded at EMI'due south Abbey Road Studios and Trident Studio between xxx May and fourteen October and was as well the final album (unless you count the Yellow Submarine soundtrack) also mixed in mono. It was produced by George Martin with uncredited production by Chris Thomas.

Mine sounds fine simply I'll be honest 9 times out of 10 I play the mono pressing.

BURNER, this pressing is on the bleeding edge of existence almost "as well" lively, on my conical Shure m44-7 the high organ notes in the left channel BELT on "while my guitar". Sonics on Happiness is a Warm Gun are moody, dynamic. Great ane to choice up.

I take this album. A US Capitol Records pressing. Says "SWBO 101 Apple Records" on within of gatefold. The Beatles is embossed. No number. So, mine DOES Non friction match inside photos provided in this listing. WHY is the photo in this list missing the "SWBO 101" impress on the within? I am guessing information technology means information technology's a 2nd printing or later.

good quality from what I heard when my friend played it for me, just helter skelter was defective And then HARD in the bass department, and apparently that'south but how this entire thing was mastered. It'south fine if you can residuum it with a stereo but without whatsoever equalization it comes out a little flat.

I recently acquired the 1984 German analog DMM version of the BC13 box fix. I was wondering if anyone has has heard that version and this version of the White Album hither could post about if there are any differences in the sound quality. Thanks.

Mine sounds nifty! Way better than the so and then new remix by Giles Martin. The sound and the vinyl are much better than this new stuff.

Let me put it this fashion: even the most "difficult" musical passages are rendered here with crystal articulate resolution on every single song, every unmarried bar. But information technology's not similar this is a sterile, cold issue - exactly the reverse actually. The drums are the best I've ever heard on any Beatles record *or* CD. Guitars sparkle. Soundstage is insane, likewise. Y'all won't regret information technology for a moment (esp. on college end systems).
